Founded in 2010 by Srilata Sen, our boutique was born from a simple wish: to explore the richness of Indian textiles and bring a little more colour into people’s lives. What started as a small, homegrown venture in Kasba, Kolkata, has grown into a trusted space for thoughtful, custom-made clothing – for women, men, and children.
Our goal and USP is to make you look and feel your best and make heads turn wherever you go. We do this by offering a wide range of unique and designer sarees, complemented with statement blouses and an exclusive set of men’s panjabis under our in-house label, Shubhroja Sen. Our focus has always been on personal connection – understanding each customer’s story, preferences, and dreams, and creating something just for them.
Ichchhapuron is proudly size-inclusive and welcoming to all, and over the years, our community has expanded far beyond Kolkata. From New Jersey to Las Vegas, we have had the pleasure of meeting our extended family through exhibitions and cultural events. We have showcased our work at international platforms like the North American Bengali Conference, connecting with our community across continents.
We remain deeply rooted in tradition, but always open to change. And we’re grateful – every single day – that we get to do what we love, for a community that inspires us constantly.
